Launch Party 2009

Sounding Post LAUNCH PARTY JULY 11th 2009

Saturday July 11th was host to the Sounding Post Launch Party  featuring acts “live” in Giltbrook TV studio with the entire event filmed by the camera crew at Finishing Post.

The footage has now been digitised and is in the process of being cut in to a promo video and indepandant band footage.

The party had a great atmosphere and by all accounts was a roaring success.  Featuring very diverse artists ranging from pop, folk, acoustic, rock and indie. The event was presented by the fabulous Joe Sawyer who we are sure we will see in front of the camera again soon!

The format of the event was that of a casual open mic party a la “Jools Hooland” with three stage areas mapped out and in between sets artists were invited to look round the recording studio and had the option of booking recording time.

There were some great deals on recording prices, new acoustic and solo artist rates, free bar and food, full backline provided and a music video up for grabs! All in a fantastic day!
