Recording and Production
Record Your Album / Single / Demo
Sounding Post is a self contained recording and production studio facility. Whether it’s a demo,
a single or an entire album you wish to record, we offer a purpose-built workspace designed to help
bring out the best in your performance. Our facility can offer you some of the finest technology
solutions, a relaxed and inspiring environment and a team of professionals available to make
it sound better than you imagined.
Digital Recording
Record up to 18 simultaneous tracks of digital audio. Benefit from the warm and natural analogue
sound that valve equipment delivers, alongside the reliability, flexibility and sparkling accuracy
of Pro-tools & Logic – our Digital workstation of choice.
Mix & Master
Mix using up to 96 tracks of digital audio.
Once all your edited audio material is balanced and has been subjected to the relevant sound processing and
professional enhancement, you can master with us & give your project that extra punch.
Pre-Production
Pre-production is essentially getting ready to record – all the jobs you need to do in order
to maximize your time in the studio. We can help you be ready and prepared for your sessions.
Typical pre-production jobs are: songwriting & co-writing, arranging material,
sequencing, time management, preparation of demos, and the booking and use of session musicians
(our roster includes some of the finest available).
We can also help with advice in how to pitch a demo and to get it to do what
you want it to do – giving you the best chance of signing a recording contract, a
publishing deal or just getting better gigs!
Compilation, Authoring & Duplication
Our studios are equipped to cater for producing both analogue and digital copies on almost all
current formats, for a variety of uses. We can compile, duplicate and deliver your project on the
medium of your choice.
Vocal & Production Coaching
Spend time under the guidance of a professional record producer and you will be given the
opportunity to improve your vocal delivery and apply industry-proven techniques to enhance your vocal
recordings.
Backing Track Library
You can bring your own backing tracks or choose from our extensive library – we have over 4000 songs.
But if we don’t have the one you want, we will endeavour to get it in time for your session.
